Ugandan comedian Cotilda Inapo is coming back to Nairobi where she will headline two nights at the Nairobi Laugh Bar.
Entitled Sarcasm And Other Ugandan Spices, the shows will take place on the 8th and the 9th of November.
Cotilda is not new to Kenyan audiences as she has performed in Nairobi on multiple occasions, her most recent visit being in April where she was one of the headliners at the Nairobi International Comedy Festival alongside South Africa’s Robby Collins.
Cotilda has also performed in Zambia, Nigeria and Malawi.
The veteran comedian joined professional comedy in 2009 as the first officially recognized female standup Comedian in Uganda.
She has worked with various big-name comedians including Anne Kansiime for whom she served as creative director from 2013 to 2018, and she is also the founder of Queens of Comedy Uganda; a platform that mentors female talent, especially comedians.
On November 8th and 9th, Cotilda will be performing alongside globetrotting duo Doug Mutai and Justine Wanda who will serve as host and opener respectively.
Tickets to Sarcasm and Other Ugandan Spices are retailing at Ksh. 1000 for early bird tickets and Ksh. 1200 for last-minute. Tickets can be purchased from the Standup Collective website.
