The live recording of Showmax Celebrity roast show, Hot Seat will resume on Tuesday 19 at Alloy Lounge in Sarit with Singer-songwriter Savara Mudigi taking the hot seat.
The Sol generation artist will be the second member of Sauti Sol to appear in a celebrity roast after Bien featured in a similar show, Roast House in 2022 that also aired on Showmax.
With zero to no controversies to his name, it will be interesting to see which angle the panel will take in the roast.
Emmanuel Kisiangani will come back as the roastmaster. Bashir Halaiki and Ty Ngachira will also be on the panel. Other than Kisiangani, Ty and Bashir are the only comics who have appeared in all episodes of Hot Seat so far.
Maina Munene, who recently did his one-man show, The African Dream, will also return after taking part in the roast of Andrew Kibe last month.
Ruth Nyambura, Stan Saleh, and radio presenter Tonio Kibz will complete the panel. Kibz will be making his debut in a comedy roast.
With six episodes recorded so far, Hot Seat is expected to be a hit among comedy lovers when it starts airing in 2025.
