For its ninth episode, Showmax’s celebrity roast show, The Hot Seat will have DJ, actor, and media personality, Pierra Makena on the firing line.
The live taping of the roast will take place on Tuesday 17th December at Alloy Lounge in Sarit, Westlands.
The award-winning actor will be the first woman to take to the hot seat, but not the first to appear in a roast; singers Avril and Sanaipei Tande featured in a similar show that aired on Showmax in 2022.
Given her pedigree in the media industry, the roast of Pierra is promising to be a hit.
The core panel lineup remains largely unchanged from previous episodes with Mike One the only new face as he makes his Hot Seat debut. Nelly Wangechi will return for her second roast appearance after featuring in the roast of Butita in November.
One notable change though is Bashir Halaiki replacing Emmanuel Kisiangani as the roastmaster: Kisiangani will be on the panel this time, alongside veteran roasters George Waweru and Maina Munene who will be making their 6th and 4th appearances respectively.
