Genge musician Major Nameye Khadija, popularly known as Mejja will be the roastee in the penultimate episode of Showmax’s celebrity roast series, The Hot Seat.
The live recording of the roast is slated for Tuesday, February 4 at Alloy Lounge in Sarit Centre, Westlands.
Mejja is set to be the fourth musical guest after Willy Paul, Savara Mudigi, and DJ Pierra Makena, who occupied the hot seat for the second, seventh and ninth live recordings respectively.
Veteran comedian and host Emmanuel Kisiangani will return as the roastmaster after an end-month comedy trip to the coast which he undertook together with George Waweru and Bashir Halaiki; the two of whom will also be on the panel.
Ty Ngachira, who recently released a short film titled Know Thy Body will also be on the dais.
Completing the lineup will be David Macharia and Marcus Douglas. David and Marcus are each making a second appearance at the Hot Seat.
Entry to the roast of Mejja is free.
