Comedian and content creator Eddie Butita is set to be the next roastee on the Showmax roast show, Hot Seat.
The live recording of the roast will take place on Tuesday, 5th November at the Alloy Lounge in Sarit, Westlands.
The creator of YouTube series, A Nurse Toto, will be joining a long list of celebrities who have passed through the Hot Seat including, Terence Creative, Willy Paul and more recently Andrew Kibe.
An often controversial figure, Butita was recently under fire for appearing to side with the government in the fight against the punitive finance bill, 2024, and his dilly-dallying with the government is likely to come up prominently in the roast.
Among the comedians who will be on the roasting panel will be David Macharia, Maina Murumba, George Waweru, Bashir Halaiki, Ty Ngachira, and newcomer Nelly Wangechi.
Emmanuel Kisiangani will reprise his role as the roastmaster.
Tickets to the live recording sold out shortly after being announced on Kenya Buzz.
