Comedians Stan Saleh, Jack Nanjero, Nduta Kariuki, and Bashir Halaiki will be taking the stage on Saturday, April 19 at the Nairobi Laugh Bar in a comedy showcase titled The Road to Mogodashe.
“Buckle up. The jokes are wild, the journey’s unpredictable, and the road leads straight to Mogodashe,” Standup Collective said in an Instagram post announcing the event.
The night marks Bashir Halaiki’s first headlining performance of the year, coming immediately after his recent announcement of his debut comedy special, Halaiki, set to be recorded later this year.
Stan Saleh is expected to host the evening, with Nduta Kariuki and Jack Nanjero occupying the feature spots.
The Road to Mogodashe will also serve as a reunion of sorts for Stan, Nduta, and Bashir—who all began their standup journeys around the same time.
