Comedy lovers in the East side of Nairobi are about to be a happy lot after Comedy Culture announced a new room at Enjoy Cafe located in the famed Imaara Mall.
Fittingly dubbed The Neighborhood, the first show will happen on Thursday, 28th November.
The Neighborhood will start off as an open mic and hence will be open to both experienced and newer comedians.
Hosting comedy nights far from the leafy Suburbs of Kilimani, Lavington and Westlands where most of the comedy in Nairobi happens now, has been a dream of Comedy Culture since they came into the comedy scene in April and seeing the dream come to pass would be more than a welcome development.
Comedy Culture say that this is only the beginning as they aim to have at least one comedy room in each neighborhood in Nairobi by the end of 2025.
It will be interesting to see which neighborhood they go to next.
