Karura Comedy Club has revealed plans for an end-month comedy show in Mombasa.
Scheduled to take place at Makaazi, Nyali on Friday 31st January, the showcase will be a Mombasa edition of The Comedy Jam, a monthly show by the comedy club that has been taking place at Kez Organics in Nairobi for some time now.
According to the caption on an Instagram post announcing the show, the night will be a mix of stand-up comedy and an immersive crowd work experience.
“Come ready to share and laugh into (sic) 2025.” Further said the caption.
On the lineup will be the founder of Karura Comedy Club, Emmanuel Kisiangani, as well as Bashir Halaiki and George Waweru. The three comedians are currently starring in The Hot Seat, a Showmax celebrity roast show.
Makaazi is slowly positioning itself as an ideal comedy destination in Mombasa having hosted two comedy nights in the month of December alone.
