After hosting the Joke Machine on Friday 8th, Cotilda Inapo was back in action on Saturday night at the Nairobi Laugh Bar, this time headlining her one-man show, Sarcasm And Other Ugandan Spices.
The Ugandan Queen of Comedy did not disappoint as her storytelling prowess, stage presence and comedic experience were on full display from the moment she stepped on the stage.
Having performed in Kenya on a few occasions before, Cotilda was expected to fare quite well but she exceeded expectations as her material resonated with the audience on a different level.
She was on stage for exactly one hour and 10 minutes, and she touched on various subjects including love, relationships and the day-to-day life in her home country, expertly transitioning from one subject to the other.
Her observations on the recent happenings in Kenya were particularly well received and one could tell that she had done her research well.
Sarcasm And Other Ugandan Spices was an overall great show as Doug Mutai who was on hosting duties continued with his hot streak since coming back from his mini-tour of the UK, and Justine Wanda, who was the opener did what she does best…
