Adan Abdi has unveiled the final lineup for his showcase, Go Back To Somalia, which is scheduled to take place at the Louis Leakey Auditorium on Saturday, June 7.
The Eid al-Adha comedy offering – already 70 percent sold out – will feature a diverse mix of comedians from across the region.
Producer, podcaster and comedian, Fadhil Khan, who recently participated in his first ever comedy showcase when he opened for Marcus Douglas during his Existential Crisis comedy show at the Nairobi Laugh Bar will make his theatre debut on the night.
Also on the bill is Imogen Hooper, founder of The Really Very Funny Comedy Club and curator of Under The Silly Tree, a monthly comedy night held at Under The Swahili Tree Restaurant in Karen.
The star-studded cast will be completed by comedian and lawyer John Ribia as well as Ugandan comic Jacques Rwothumo who will fly into the country for the showcase.
