Nairobi Laugh Bar Presents; Darren Collins

Kenyan-based American comedian and magician Darren Collins will be headlining the weekly Saturday night comedy show on the 7th of September at the Nairobi Laugh Bar.

The two-time Kalasha Award winner will be hitting the stage for the second time in as many weeks since jetting back from Texas.

This will be more than just a comedy show for the comedian as he will be reuniting with long-time friend, Zambian, Kasambwe Mpulamasaka who shared the stage with Darren on several occasions after moving to the United States from Zambia in 2001.

Kasambwe is part of an array of African Comedians who moved to North America in the early 2000s to pursue comedy and has shared the stage with such comedians as Trevor Noah, and Eddie Griffin. He moved back to Zimbabwe in 2015.

The comedy reunion will be hosted by Bashir Halaiki.

Advance tickets to the event dubbed, Dallas-Lusaka-Nairobi comedy reunion are retailing for Ksh. 1000 and can be obtained on the standup collective website.
