Nairobi Laugh Bar Presents: Arthur Simeon

Toronto-based comedian Arthur Simeon is lined up for a three-night headlining outing at the Nairobi Laugh Bar on the nights of the 23rd, the 24th, and the 25th of October.

The performances, which will make him the second-ever act to headline three back-to-back nights at the Laugh Bar after South African Robby Collins, will also double as a special live recording for the Ugandan-born entertainer who already has two comedy albums to his name: Born and Raised (2014) and The Blackest Panther (2020).

Simeon first performed in Kenya in January 2024, officially opening the account for the now-popular Nairobi Laugh Bar Presents series.

Born in Kampala, Arthur moved to Canada in 2001 and first attempted stand-up while attending Trent University in Peterborough.

He went on to enjoy sustained success, performing multiple times at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and also appearing on HBO.

This latest adventure, dubbed Behave Yourself, will be his third Nairobi performance in as many years.

Early bird tickets are available to purchase via the Standup Collective website.
