Nairobi Laugh Bar Headlining Debut for Oluoch Kariuki

Comedian Oluoch Kariuki is set to make his Nairobi Laugh Bar headlining debut on Saturday, 21st June.

The show, dubbed Humor Trafficker, will be the entertainer’s second major undertaking after The Jokes Shall Set You Free, a one-man show that he staged at the Kenya National Theatre last December.

“We’re not just cracking jokes—we’re trafficking raw truth disguised in punchlines. This is comedy that dares to go where others tiptoe.” Said Standup Collective on Instagram.

Oluoch, who made his international debut last October when he performed in Kampala, Uganda, just came off an Eldoret trip where he was part of a showcase that also included Doug Mutai, Nathan Rerei, and Racquel Anyango.

Humor Trafficker will wrap up what has been a busy month for Oluoch, who also hosted the June edition of Imogen Hooper’s monthly comedy showcase at Under the Swahili Tree Restaurant in Karen on June 14.

Advance tickets for Humor Trafficker are available to purchase via the Standup Collective website.
