More Pop-up Shows For Distant Relatives Comedy Festival.

As the third edition of The Distant Relatives Comedy Festival nears, Punchline Comedy Club Nairobi has announced two more pop-up shows in the lead-up to the Festival.

The first pop-up show, dubbed, Guest Relations will happen at the Wasp and Sprout Restaurant in Loresho on the 2nd of May and will feature a lineup of local comedians Trusilla Lorraine, Abdi Mohammed, and comedian and singer-songwriter Seroney, as well as, guest comedians who are flying in for the Festival.

Some of the guest comedians who will be performing include South Africans, Chris Mapane and KG Mokgadi as well as Evans Bukuku and Dogo Pepe from Tanzania. Comedian David Gitau will host the show.

The second pop-up show, which will happen a day after Guest Relations at Mama Rocks, Karen, will be crowd-work themed and will feature a lineup of Kinuthia S.K, Nellie Wangechi and Alita Jack. Other comedians who will be taking the stage include Eugene Nam, Toniment, and Ian Nthiga. The show will be hosted by Oluoch Kariuki who is also on the lineup for Distant Relatives 3.

Distant Relatives 3 is an annual Comedy Festival by Punchline Comedy Club Nairobi that brings together comedians from all over the world for two nights of Stand Up Comedy extravaganza.

Tickets for the Festival are going for 2500/= for a single night and 4000/ for both nights and can be found on the Punchline Comedy Club website.
