Comedian and satirist Maina Munene will be embarking on his new nationwide tour, The African Dream, on Friday, 20th June.
The anticipated tour will kick off in the City of Kisumu, where the funnyman will set up camp for two days and perform at Dunga Hills Camp before proceeding to Eldoret, where he is expected to perform at the KVDA Auditorium on Sunday, 22nd.
After Eldoret, the next stops will be Lamu town on Friday, 27th, and Mombasa on Sunday, 29th. Munene will wrap up the tour in Nairobi on August 9.
“I’m very excited about this new project, and my main aim is to take it international.” Maina said about the tour.
Supported by the French government’s creation Africa program under the Hii Stage II touring grant, The African Dream is Maina Munene’s second tour in as many years.
Last year, the entertainer, who is the co-creator of the popular online satirical series Bwana Spokesman, went on a similar tour where he hit the cities of Nakuru, Mombasa, and Lamu Town.
