The second edition of the Mombasa Comedy Jam is set to go down on February 28 at Makaazi, Nyali with comedians Maina Munene and Ty Ngachira on the bill.
The Karura Comedy Club-curated showcase will be happening for the second time this year.
On January 31, George Waweru, Bashir Halaiki and Emmanuel Kisiangani, who is also the founder of Karura Comedy Club did the first-ever edition of the Mombasa Comedy Jam to a positive reaction.
Over the past few months, the number of comedy shows happening on the coastal strip has increased sharply thanks to the efforts of such outfits as Karura Comedy Club and Kenyan Comedy Co. as well as individual comedians.
Maina and Ty will be aiming to extend their hot streaks comedy-wise through this adventure. The two acts recently participated in a Ty Ngachira-curated showcase, Acha Niseme Initoke that happened on two back-to-back Saturdays at the Nairobi Laugh Bar.
