Eric Lu-savali and Greg Wahome will be looking to end the year in style when they co-host the Winedown Wednesday and Sets In The City open mics on Wednesday, 4th December and Thursday, 5th December respectively.
Winedown Wednesday, which is the longest-running open mic in Africa will happen at Two Grapes Nairobi while Sets In The City will take place at The 254 Beer District in Westlands.
The sometimes-comedy-duo, also known as The Terrible Two, have made a name for themselves as a formidable pair since they first co-hosted together in mid-2023.
Eric and Greg have not only co-hosted shows together, but they have also headlined two shows as a duo; the first one in October 2023 at the now-closed Brioche, Rhapta Road and the second one in August 2024 at The 254 Beer District.
Eric and Greg don’t always perform together though, as they each have individual flourishing stand-up careers. They both opened for world-famous American comedian, Dave Chappelle when he made a stop in Nairobi in May.
Eric recently performed at a Comedy Festival in Gaborone, Botswana and is also scheduled to perform in Arusha on the 6th and 7th of this month with Punchline Comedy Club, Tanzania.
Greg Wahome is a regular at Punchline Comedy Club open mics and showcases.
