The best one yet?
Former Churchill Show comedian Eric Omondi will be the latest celebrity to appear at Showmax’s celebrity roast show, Hot Seat.
The roast of Eric Omondi will take place on Tuesday, 3rd December at Alloy Lounge in Sarit Centre, Westlands.
The content creator cum philanthropist has been in the headlines lately for his acts of charity and his numerous social justice and good governance campaigns. He was recently arrested at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport while on his way to Tanzania for unclear reasons.
It wasn’t the first time he has been arrested this year and the roast panel will be hoping that he can keep himself out of the cells long enough to take part in the December 3rd roast.
All in all, the roast is expected to be one for the books given his status in the comedy industry and his many controversies.
The roast panel consists of several familiar faces as well as a few new ones. Emmanuel Kisiangani will return as the trusted roastmaster. Regulars Bashir Halaiki, George Waweru and Ruth Nyambura will also be on the dais.
Making their Hot Seat debuts will be comedy duo David Macharia and Amandeep Jagde.
Entry to the roast of Eric Omondi is free.
