UK-based Malawian comedian and 2017 Britain’s Got Talent finalist will be performing in Nairobi on the 27th of July at the Nairobi Laugh Bar.
The news was announced through an Instagram post made on the Nairobi Laugh Bar’s official account. Daliso will be in Nairobi for one night only.
Performing alongside him will be veteran Maina Murumba, and fan favorite and host of Fake Woke With Justine Instagram satirical series, Justine Wanda.
This won’t be the Malawian-born comedian’s first visit to Kenya though as he has performed in Kenya before, his first appearance being at the Churchill show in 2016, long before his Britain Got Talent exploits.
Chaponda, who began doing standup in 2002 in Canada, is a true veteran of the game and will join a long list of international acts who have graced the stage of the Nairobi Comedy Bar this year.
Tickets for the event at going for ksh. 1500 for advance tickets and Ksh. 2000 at the gate and can be bought on standupcollective.co.ke.
