Veteran comedian, Maina Murumba has announced a headliner show at the Nairobi Laugh Bar on Saturday 8th March.
Entitled, Casino Monkey, the show will be a collaborative outing between Murumba and the Nairobi Laugh Bar.
Murumba, who is one of the more senior comedians in the Nairobi comedy scene has been performing stand-up since at least 2018 and many would argue that this is a project that has been a long time coming for him.
Through the adventure, Maina will join his comedic peers such as David Macharia who has been enjoying sustained success since last year through out-of-town ventures and a wildly successful concept showcase, David Macharia And The People That Agreed To Do This Show – Murumba has featured in both installments of the show.
Being a headliner show, Casino Monkey will no doubt feature a few opening acts but those are yet to be announced.
Tickets to the show are available to purchase via the Standup Collective website.
