Amandeep Jagde has released a teaser trailer for his one-man show, Doggies, which he recorded in October 2023.
The thirty-three-second clip was posted on his official Instagram account with the caption, ‘Teaser Trailer For The Trailer For Doggies’
Doggies, which was the first official one-man show for Amandeep, is a term used amongst comedians to refer to material that has been perfected i.e tried and tested on several crowds and has proven to work almost all of the time: That was the idea behind the show.
A few months after recording the special at Alliance Française, Nairobi, Amandeep embarked on a nationwide tour called Doggies On The Road where he performed the same show in three different cities; Nakuru, Mombasa, and Kisumu. The tour ran from June to August 2023.
Even though some of his fans may have felt that it took a long time – more than a year – for the teaser trailer to come out, they will surely be delighted to learn that the special is finally seeing the light of day.
It’s not yet clear which platform he will release the full special on, but that shouldn’t be a problem given the sheer number of avenues at his disposal including but not limited to his website, Amandeep.co.ke and YouTube.
