After selling out two back-to-back nights at the Nairobi Laugh bar, Adan Abdi has announced that he will be embarking on a worldwide comedy tour.
The tour, called the Slippery Tour, will see the Funny Man hit 5 cities across the world; four in Africa and one in the United Arab Emirates.
The Slippery Tour will kick off in Capetown, on November 29th where the comedian will be hoping to spend a few days before flying back to Nairobi.
After Capetown, the next stop of the tour will be Nakuru on December, 14th after which Adan will go to Mombasa a week later.
The tour will have one more stop in Africa; Dar El Salaam, Tanzania, but the date is yet to be announced.
After his African exploits, Adan will proceed to the United Arab Emirates to complete the world tour in style.
Abdi began doing stand-up less than five years ago and his rise has been meteoric, to say the least. He has consistently sold out show after show, thanks to his work ethic which has seen him build a supportive community around him.
“I really want to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for all the love and support y’all have shown me in my stand-up comedy journey. I am immensely grateful for that.” The comedian said in an Instagram post after announcing the tour.
