After selling out the Louis Leakey Auditorium last August with his showcase, Selfaware-ish, touring comedian Adan Abdi has announced a new showcase at the same venue, slated for Saturday, June 7.
Taking to his official Instagram account on 2nd April, Adan revealed the artwork for the showcase dubbed, Go Back To Somalia.
“Friends, I present to you ‘Go Back To Somalia.’ Adan wrote in the caption.
“I’ve woven every lesson, adventure and experience into this deeply personal, hilarious and captivating show that I can’t wait to share with you.”
This will be the third solo theatre outing for the globetrotting comedian in as many years making him one of the top-earning comedians within that period. Prior to selling out the Louis Leakey Auditorium in 2024, Adan had sold out the Alliance Française Auditorium in 2023.
Go Back To Somalia is coming right after Adan’s world tour, Slippery, which saw him hit multiple cities across Africa including Johannesburg late last year.
He also staged a showcase in Garissa in December which wasn’t part of the tour.
