Adan Abdi has announced a stand-up comedy show in Garissa on 25th December – to take place at Expresso Coffee Shop.
The show won’t be part of his ongoing Slippery world tour but will rather be a standalone venture.
Abdi only revealed his plan to stage a show in the North Eastern town on December 8 and although he had hinted at having it in January 2025, it looks like he decided to push it forward.
The outing will officially make Adan one of the more traveled comedians this year. He was recently in the South African city of Cape Town where he spent close to a week and performed in almost ten different rooms.
Since jetting back into the country, he has already performed in Nakuru and is scheduled to perform in Mombasa on 29th December for his last show of the year. Both Nakuru and Mombasa are stops in his Slippery tour which will also see him hit Dar Es Salaam and Dubai.
Adan has gone on the offensive comedy-wise since his sold-out one-man show at the Louis Leakey Auditorium in August, strategically positioning himself as one of the headliners to watch in 2025.
