Nu-Africa Pamoja Foundation through its founder, The Artist Called Seroney has announced its second-ever stand-up comedy event to take place on Friday, 15th February at the Funny Farm in Kahawa Wendani.
Called Side N****s and Side Chics, the ambitious adventure is meant to celebrate the widely recognized International Day of Love – Valentine’s Day, which will have been marked a day earlier – in style.
The show will feature two headliners – Seroney himself and Nelly Wangechi. Nelly is currently starring in Showmax’s celebrity roast series, The Hot Seat. Several guest performers are expected to join the lineup.
Nu-Africa Pamoja Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on empowering young people in such areas as sports, fashion, music, film and photography.
Through its novel Laughs In The World Program, the organization recently ventured into stand-up comedy marking that milestone with a sold-out show that took place on January 11 at its headquarters.
By providing a platform, the foundation is hoping to nurture young comedians by equipping them with skills that will enable them to monetize their talent.
