Comedian Amandeep Jagde has officially released his first comedy special, Doggies, on his YouTube channel — delivering on a promise he made earlier in the day across social media.
“Yo! My first comedy special DOGGIES will be up on YouTube TONIGHT at 7 PM!” he announced on X.
Before the online premiere, Doggies was screened twice to live audiences — both to rave reviews. The first showing took place on January 31 at the Nairobi Laugh Bar, followed by a second on February 15 at Unseen Nairobi.
Recorded in October 2023 at Alliance Française, Nairobi, Doggies marks Amandeep’s first official one-man show. The special captures the culmination of nearly a decade in comedy, beginning with his breakout performances on the iconic Churchill Show in the mid-2010s, where he became a regular fixture before stepping out on his own.
In the months following the recording, Amandeep took Doggies on the road, performing the special in Nakuru, Mombasa, and Kisumu as part of his nationwide Doggies On The Road tour, which ran from June to August 2024.
With the tour and live screenings wrapped, releasing the special online was the next natural step — bringing his humor to an even wider audience.
Looking ahead, Amandeep is gearing up for a new tour titled The Flying Sikh. He recently gave fans a sneak peek during a trial run held at Nairobi Laugh Bar on Thursday, March 20.
