Standup Collective and The Rotary Club of Gachie have joined hands for a night of comedy at La Mesa, Movenpick Hotel on Saturday, 12th April.
Dubbed Stand Up For A Cause, the charitable venture will incorporate the comedic talents of Doug Mutai, Nelly Wangechi, Nathan Rerei and George Waweru.
“StandUp for a cause is a night of laughter with a purpose!” Said Standup Collective on Instagram.
The Rotary Club of Gachie is part of Rotary, a global organization of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service as well as educational and cultural exchange programs in a bid to achieve world peace and understanding.
The partnership with Standup Collective is a first of its kind.
Advance tickets to Stand Up For A Cause are retailing at Ksh. 1500. All extra proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the Eburru Small-scale Farmers Empowerment Program.
