‘Strike while the iron is hot’ seems to be David Macharia’s modus operandi as the entertainer has announced the fourth edition of his concept showcase, David Macharia And The People That Agreed To Do This Show to take place on Saturday, March 29 at the Nairobi Laugh Bar – only four weeks after the third edition happened.
This undoubtedly speaks to the massive success of the cross-genre showcase, which has been gaining an almost cult following since its debut last November and is quickly becoming one of the shows to look out for at Kenya’s first full-time comedy club.
Tyler Hall will fly all the way from the United States to be a part of the show as one of the featured comedians alongside Emmanuel Kisiangani. David Macharia will be on hosting duties as has been the case with all the previous editions.
The music segment will be headlined by Kenyan-American recording and performing artist Vallerie Muthoni, who is also a dancer and creative director.
On the decks will be the multi-talented producer, sound engineer, rapper, DJ, and beatmaker Lukorito who will be following in the potent footsteps of Gatthoni, Basthma and DJ Slick.
Tickets to David Macharia And The People That Agreed To Do This Show are available to purchase via the Standup Collective website.
