Comedian and award-winning actor, Arnold Saviour has announced his first-ever one-man show set to take place on June 15 at the Kenya National Theatre.
The viral funnyman made the news public through his official Instagram page on Friday 14th.
“Finally it’s happening! On the 15th of June, I will be recording my first comedy special dubbed “My First Time.” Said Arnold.
“This special will make you laugh, think, and laugh again.” He added.
Arnold has taken the Kenyan comedy scene, and by extension, the entertainment industry by storm over the last few months, thanks to his viral online clips and a signature catchy nursery rhyme ‘Mos Mos Mama Milka’ which has become synonymous with the comedian. He even recorded a rendition of the song early this year.
His collaborative works with popular online content creators such as Terence Creative and Crazy Kennar have also contributed to his growth in the entertainment space.
Arnold had largely been on the periphery of the Kenyan comedy landscape for a long time, sporadically appearing on such shows as Churchill Show before achieving a deserved breakthrough last year when he began performing with Punchline Comedy Club Nairobi and posting his clips online.
The announcement of a one-man show from the entertainer has been a long time coming and his growing fanbase will be hoping that this is just the first of many.
