The Slippery World Tour Goes To Mombasa

Adan Abdi’s Slippery world tour will resume on Sunday 29th December, with the comedian poised to perform in Mombasa.

The multiple-city tour which kicked off last month has already seen Abdi perform in Cape Town and Nakuru with tour dates for Dar Es Salaam and Dubai yet to be announced.

This will be the second December running that Abdi has staged a show in the coastal city having also performed a one-man show at Nyali Cinemax last December.

The location will slightly change this time though with the show taking place at Makaazi, a boutique hotel situated along Mount Kenya Road in Nyali – which will be hosting a second comedy event this month after David Macharia and Amandeep Jagde performed their two-man act at the establishment on Friday 13th.

A few days before the Mombasa stop, Abdi is expected to perform at Expresso Coffee House in the North Eastern town of Garissa. The mini-stop won’t be part of the Slippery tour but rather a standalone adventure.

With multiple travels and sold-out shows in the bag, this has been the funnyman’s most successful year as a comedian yet and he’ll be hoping to end it on a high when he touches down in Mombasa.

Tickets to the show are retailing at Ksh. 1500 and can be purchased via www.adanabdi.com
