Toronto-based comedian, Arthur Simeon is expected to perform at the Nairobi Laugh Bar on January 10.
This is according to Standup Collective, the outfit under which the Laugh Bar operates.
The Ugandan-born funnyman would be appearing at the establishment for a second successive January in a row having officially opened the account for the now-popular Nairobi Laugh Bar Presents series on January 13th, 2024.
The comedian and writer has made quite a name for himself in the Canadian comedy circuit.
Born in Kampala, Arthur moved to Canada in the fall of 2001 and first attempted stand-up while attending Trent University in Peterborough.
He went on to enjoy sustained success performing multiple times at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and also appearing on HBO.
Simeon has two comedy albums to his name; Born and Raised, released in 2014, and The Blackest Panther, released in 2020.
He has also written and starred in a CBC series.
