Nairobi Laugh Bar Presents; Mid-life Men

For its final show of 2024, Nairobi Laugh Bar will have four veteran comedians grace its stage.

The December 21 showcase, entitled Midlife Men, will see Doug Mutai, Darren Collins, John Ribia and Emmanuel Kisiangani bring down the curtain on what has been a successful year for Kenya’s first full-time comedy club.

The weekly Saturday comedy nights have brought a breath of fresh air into the Nairobi nightlife since the first Nairobi Laugh Bar Presents on January 13th by providing an alternative source of entertainment to city dwellers.

This last edition promises to be a hit as each of the comics on the lineup has achieved notable levels of success in their respective comedy careers this year.

Darren Collins and John Ribia have been mainstays at the Laugh Bar, with Darren performing both as a comedian and as a magician. He has staged several family-friendly Sunday afternoon comedy and magic shows.

Doug Mutai, who is the founder of the Laugh Bar, recently completed a tour of the United Kingdom, while Emmanuel Kisiangani, who will headline the night, is currently starring on Showmax’s celebrity roast show, The Hot Seat. He recently did a mini-tour of South Africa.

Tickets to Midlife Men are on sale and can be purchased via the Standup Collective website.
