Mammito Eunice’s one-man show, Maandamano Baby, slated for December 20 is now only one week away.
Mammito is aiming to sell out the 800-plus seater Jain Bhavan Auditorium in Loresho.
This is arguably the most daring endeavor yet for the experienced comedian who has been in the industry for almost ten years.
Mammito broke into the Kenyan comedy scene in 2015 through the famed Churchill Show where she enjoyed sustained success before later breaking away as a separate brand.
It’s looking increasingly likely that she will get quite a few butts in seats on December 20 as she has been aggressively marketing the show through her socials where she enjoys a massive following.
As part of her preparation for the night, the soon-to-be mother recently performed in front of a sold-out crowd at Rosslyn Riviera Mall.
Before that, she had traveled to Rwanda where she performed at the Gen Z Comedy Night, a comedy showcase in Kigali founded by Rwandese comedian Merci to showcase stand-up comedians across Rwanda and beyond.
Mammito remains to be one of Kenya’s finest comedic talents and Maandamano Baby should further cement that status.
