Brian Onjoro will headline the December 7 edition of Nairobi Laugh Bar Presents.
This will be the second headlining outing at the Laugh Bar for the veteran performer who only made a comeback into the comedy scene this year after taking a brief hiatus.
Since his sensational return, the founder of Nairobi Comedy Club has been making moves within the scene which have seen him secure an open mic room in Westlands that’s a few weeks old.
Onjoro was one of the pioneers of the English stand-up comedy scene in Nairobi as we know it.
He began performing stand-up as early as 2015 and was the curator of such shows as Hunger Pangs, Friday Night Live and The Comedy Passport through which he enjoyed great success.
Onjoro however took a break from comedy in 2022 and it was not until August of this year when he resurfaced.
He showed that he hadn’t lost his magic when he headlined Nairobi Laugh Presents on September 14 and this second outing should be even better.
Tickets to Nairobi Laugh Bar Presents are retailing at Ksh. 1000 for early bird tickets and Ksh. 1200 for advance tickets and can be purchased from the Standup Collective website.
