Comedian and founder of Punchline Comedy Club Nairobi Eric Lu-savali will be taking his talents to Botswana this Friday the 22nd.
He is set to perform at the 10th Annual Heavyweights International Comedy Festival organized by Major Moves Botswana, a fashion, music and comedy outfit based in Gaborone.
Eric will be sharing the stage will several comedians from Botswana and several other African countries including Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, Uganda, Lesotho and Eswatini.
The host of the Sit Down With Stand-ups podcast has already traveled to two other African countries this year for comedy namely, Tanzania and South Africa. He has also performed in Yellow Springs, Ohio where he opened for comedy heavyweight Dave Chappelle only a few weeks after opening for him in Nairobi mid-this year.
As he joins a long line of comedians who have recently traveled outside the country for comedy, Eric will be aiming to continue with the work of putting the Kenyan comedy scene on the map.
