Friendly Fire; David Macharia And Bashir Halaiki To Go Head To Head

David Macharia and Bashir Halaiki will be going at each other in a roast battle on the 16th of November at the Nairobi Laugh Bar.

The battle, dubbed Friendly Fire is being produced by the comedy outfit Chuckle Cartel and will see the two comedians trade jabs in three successive rounds.

The winner of each round will be decided by a panel of judges led by Maina Murumba who will also serve as the host and by extension the referee of the roast. Other judges will be Ruth Nyambura and Marcus Douglas.

The ultimate judge will be the audience though as they will also have a say on who they think would have won each round.

Chuckle Cartel produced three roast battles last year all of which were received with critical acclaim. The episodes are available on Chuckle Cartel’s YouTube channel.

This latest episode is set to be entertaining as David and Bashir are no strangers to roast battles, having taken part in previous Friendly Fires. The two also recently appeared together in the Roast of Butita which is set to air on Showmax.

Tickets to Friendly Fire can be purchased from the Standup Collective website.
