Mammito Eunice is aiming to fill up the Jain Bhavan Auditorium, an 800-plus seater theatre in Loresho for her one-man show, entitled Maandamano Baby on December, 20th.
The experienced comedian, who recently announced that she is expecting her first baby, has been busy throughout 2024 and will be looking to end the year in style.
Maandamano Baby is a reference to the baby, whom she conceived at the height of the 2024 anti-Finance Bill protests.
“I occupied the Parliament and a tiny human occupied my womb. Am (sic) excited to share this story and journey with you!” She said in an Instagram post announcing the show.
Mammito began doing stand-up in 2015 on the famed Churchill Show and her star has only shone brighter after leaving Churchill. She has enjoyed sustained success, selling out venues such as The Braeburn Theatre, The Louis Leakey Auditorium, and the Nairobi Laugh Bar on multiple occasions.
Should she sell out the Jain Bhavan auditorium; something she’s likely to do, Mammito will become the first Kenyan comedian to sell out the theatre, which would be no mean feat.
Tickets to Maandamano Baby are on sale and can be purchased from hustlesasa.com
