The Manchester trip is just one of many for Doug and others as more comedians are poised to travel to Manchester and other cities in the UK in an unprecedented Kenya-UK comedy exchange.
The founder of Standup Collective and the Nairobi Laugh Bar no doubt gained valuable insights from the trip which will come in handy as he tries to shape the Nairobi comedy scene into a robust system.
Upon returning to Kenya, Doug will immediately get back to work as he is set to host UK-based Malawian comedian, Daliso Chaponda’s show, Daliso Chaponda In Nairobi, at the Braeburn Theatre on Friday, 1st.
