After winning two Savannah Comic Choice Awards in April, South African Comedian and content creator Vafa Naraghi will be making a stop in Nairobi for two nights of comedy at the Nairobi Laugh Bar.
The show, called New Money, will see Vafa headline Friday and Saturday night shows on the 20th and the 21st of September respectively, following in the footsteps of fellow countryman Robby Collins who also headlined two sold-out nights at the Laugh Bar in August.
Vafa, who has performed in Nairobi on three other occasions before, will be looking to continue cementing his name as one of Africa’s most bankable performers.
Having recently bagged himself a Netflix invite to Hollywood for the premiere of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, this is turning out to be a hugely successful year for the funnyman.
Joining Vafa on stage for New Money will be Kenya’s own Maina Munene, who recently completed a countrywide tour dubbed A Child Of The Mau Mau as well as Ruth Nyambura. Tickets for the show are retailing at Ksh. 1500 for advance tickets and Ksh. 2000 for last-minute tickets and can be obtained on the standup collective website.
