
- Dogo Pepe
Dogo Pepe is one of the finest comics in Tanzania and that comes with the occasional pleasure of performing in Nairobi. Dogo has been to Nairobi twice, the first time to do the Kenya International Theatre Festival in 2021 at the invite of Punchline Comedy Club Nairobi and recently for the Distant Relatives Festival. He is a Swahili comic who thrives in a predominantly English scene and has since become a crowd favorite for the Nairobi comedy fans.

- Deogratius
Deo, as he is commonly known by people who can’t pronounce his full name is a Dar Es Salaam based multi-lingual comedian affiliated to Watubaki, whose standup comedy shows air on DSTV and Punchline Comedy Club Tz which an English comedy club based in Dar. He has performed in Nairobi twice as well for Punchline Comedy Club Nairobi’s monthly Yo Mama show as well as Distant Relatives in 2023. He is a borderline philosopher and comedian whose performances are both electric and thought provoking. With a mix of social commentary and political material.

- Hamis Mdee
Hamis is one of the fastest rising comics from Tanzania who has been to Nairobi three times, for the Kenya International Theatre Festival and twice for Punchline Comedy Club Nairobi’s shows. Hamis has grown on the Kenyan audience to become a crowd favorite through his well crafted and smart observational humor and electric performances.

- Evans Bukuku
Stand-up comedian, Radio host, corporate MC and co-founder of Punchline Comedy Club Tz, Evans is one of the more popular entertainers in Tanzania. He has been in Nairobi severally performing at Punchline Comedy Club Nairobi’s stages.

- Leonardo
Leornardo Butindi is an internet sensation in Tanzania. With more than quarter of a million followers on IG, he has a massive fan base. He lends his standup comedy talents to stages like Cheka Tu and Punchline Tz. He has been to Kenya once leaving audiences in stitches through his well-crafted punchlines and wanting more.

- Ahmed Dahar
Co-founder of Punchline Comedy Club Tz and proprietor of the first full-time comedy club in and east and central Africa, Ahmed has been to Nairobi on several occasions performing for Punchline Comedy Clun Nairobi and strengthening their partnership.

- Neila Manga
The first lady of comedy in Tanzania, Neila is hilarious and infamous for her phrase “wanaume ni umbwa” which the Nairobi comedy fans love and cheer on, she has performed in Nairobi twice.
