Ugandan comedian Elly Odoki will be on hosting duties for Punchline Comedy Club’s Winedown Wednesday and Sets In The City open mics on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th January respectively.
The popular comedy nights will be entering their second week this year after taking a break in December for the holidays.
Winedown Wednesday is one of the longest-running open mics in these parts of the world and takes place every Wednesday at Two Grapes Restaurant in Kilimani while Sets In The City happens every Thursday at The 254 Beer District in Westlands.
Odoki would not be new to the two stages as he has performed on them on several occasions before.
Punchline Comedy Club will be looking to repeat last year’s successes with the open mics, and especially with Winedown Wednesday which has become synonymous with the Punchline brand in recent years.
